“I don’t like how Ariel sometimes is believed to have given up everything for a guy. She obviously longed to live out of the sea before she saw Eric. It was just that, when she saw him it made her want to be there that much more.”
The most emotional parts of “Tangled” for me are always involving her parents. I adore how Disney was able to show so much emotion in their facial expressions the night of her 18th birthday and when Rapunzel is united with them once again
“Some of the critique for The Little Mermaid II is that it’s the same plot from the first movie, but reversed. I personally like that. Ariel failed to learn a real lesson in the first movie, but in the sequel she learns what Triton went through when she disobeyed him and ran away.”
“The Disney moment that will always get me is when Ariel hugs her dad at the end of The Little Mermaid and says “I love you, daddy”. I don’t have a very strong relationship with my own dad, and I’m not sure if I’m jealous, or touched by the one Ariel has with her’s, but it makes me cry every time.”
“Of all the princesses, Ariel is my favorite. My parents always tease me about being half fish. I just love to be in the water, I feel at home, and weightless, so her being a mermaid kinda translated to me.”

“I would love to see a prequel to Rapunzel about Mother Gothel growing up. It’d be interesting to see why she wanted to live forever and see if anything in particular happened that made her that way. The perfect ending to that movie would be her finding the golden flower and singing to it.”
“I love the song “When Will My Life Begin?” from Tangled because I think I can relate. But unfortunately I dont think I’ll have the same outcome as Rapunzel. I think I’ll be asking that question forever.”
